Huion was glad to have supported the Animasyros International Animation Festival, one of Greece’s biggest animation events and a well-known creative gathering in Europe. The festival takes place every year on Syros Island. This year’s event ran from September 21 to 27, 2026, bringing together animators, art students and creative professionals from all over the world.

The festival’s lineup included seven competition categories: International Competition, Student Competition, Feature Film Competition – Audience Prize, Greek Competition Section, TV & Commissioned Films Competition, K.I.D.S. Competition and Animapride Competition. Besides film screenings, it also hosted workshops and the professional Agora forum. These activities helped creators connect and exchange ideas within the global animation community.

As an official sponsor, Huion provided drawing displays as prizes for two key competition groups.

The International Competition Grand Prize winner received a Huion Kamvas Pro 19. Built for professional animators and concept artists, it delivers responsive, precise pen input and a large, high-quality screen to support complex animation workflows.

The Student Competition Award winner received a Huion Kamvas 16 (Gen 3). It has reliable colour accuracy and a portable size, making it a steady tool for animation students as they grow their craft.

Huion has always supported visual creators at every stage of their creative path. This partnership with Animasyros aligned with our ongoing aim: to give animators, illustrators and storytellers easy-to-use digital art tools, and to honour original animation work from new talents and experienced creators alike.

We enjoyed taking part in this beloved festival, and we were happy to celebrate all the wonderful animated stories shared on Syros Island.
